Specialty Certifications
You must hold a current CCA certification to be eligible to take any specialty exams.
These specialty certifications fall under the five major pillars of a CCA’s knowledge, which include Nutrient Management, Soil and Water Management, Integrated Pest Management, Crop Management, and Professional Development.

Certified Professional Agronomist (CPAg) Certification
The CPAg specialty certification is for agronomists who advise growers on agronomic practices, conduct educational programs, do research in agronomy, manage other agronomists, and/or provide technical support to field agronomists.
4R Nutrient Management Specialty (4R NMS) Certification
The 4R NMS specialty certification is for CCAs who focus their work on nutrient management planning.
California Nitrogen Management Specialty (CA-NSp) Certification
The CA-NSp specialty certification is for California-based CCAs who desire to provide nitrogen management planning services for their clients
Precision Agriculture Specialty (PASp) Certification
The PASp specialty certification has been developed to meet the growing demand for qualified advisers with focused knowledge and skills in precision agriculture.
Resistance Management Specialty (RMS) Certification

Sustainability Specialty (SSp) Certification
